     Sugar is processed from sugar cane or beet. The process removes all fibre from the sugar; it is bleached and refined until it is crystal white, it has no food value just empty calories. These calories are changed to fat by triglycerides and stored on your belly and hips. Triglycerides are important to human life, sugar is not, and sugar has to go, not only to be rid of belly fat but to reduce the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart failure? Unless you are eating vegetables and meat, from the farm and not the factory, almost every morsel of food you put in your mouth contains sugar. It is a frightening concept; we are sitting on a time bomb.

It is found in many popular sweeteners, and is added to diet sodas. 

There are over 3000 chemicals added to food; manufacturers depend on the complacency of the public, and hope they will not become aware of the dangerous substances they are ingesting. Another consideration, are we being served carcinogens on a plate, is sugar and chemicals the underlying cause of cancer. Excessive weight and the use of sugar and sugar substitutes suppress the immune system and increase the risk of organ cancer. 


Will the parents of today outlive their children? Young people are being hospitalized for strokes and the number is rising daily. According to a 2011 report, the risk of high blood pressure and high cholesterol is increasing due to obesity in young people. The incidence of young people using control medication for cholesterol and high blood pressure is outpacing their grandparents. Obesity has more than tripled in the last 30 years, and youth face a lifetime risk of diabetes and high blood pressure.


People have never been so affluent and malnourished. Food is depleted in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and the body is not provided with the necessary nutrients to sustain life. If you want to be healthy and weigh less you will have to make changes. The changes will not be easy, you are addicted to sugar, and there will be withdrawal symptoms. Your refrigerator should contain meat from grass fed animals, free range chickens and eggs, organically grown fruit and vegetables. Eating organically grown food will provide vitamins and minerals and remove toxins from your body, you will eat less and the fat will begin to disappear. Take the necessary life changing steps to ensure a healthy future for you and your family.
